Description

(EDU 265 and WOM 265 are the same course.) An introduction to the theories and practices of educating girls and women. Traditional and feminist perspectives on developmental models of learning, early childhood through adult education, curricular issues, and feminist pedagogy will be studied and critiqued. SS

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Special Notes

Students cannot receive credit for both EDU 265 and WOM 265. Section E056 is a FastTrack course taught over the first 8 weeks Sept 3-Oct 25; drop date Oct 7. The final exam will be during the eighth week of class. A portion of the learning activities have been moved online and time traditionally spent in the classroom is reduced. Minimal computer skills are strongly recommended. Consent of advisor is required.
